Hello! Some of you may have noticed that there was no post yesterday, and that was because after a week of burning the candle at both ends I was beyond exhausted and decided to take a day off to take care of myself for once. So this week's tips will have a "take care of yourself" slant.
Tip #1: Sleep. It sounds so simple on paper, getting 8 hours a night, but for someone of us we never seem to get anywhere near that. Make getting at least 8 hours a priority for you, your body cannot survive on 4-6 hours constantly.
Tip #2: Stress can cause your skin to breakout, so use that stress filled week as an excuse to use that really good face mask you've been saving. Or use this as an excuse to buy that one you've always wanted.
Tip #3: With the weather turning colder your skin is going to need some extra moisture. If you are someone, like me, who avoids face lotions over fear of breakouts, look into a hyalauronic acid serum like this one. Serums typically absorb better and won't sit on your skin causing breakouts like a lotion can.
Tip #4: Your nails need a break too, polish can dry them out and cause them to peel, crack, and be brittle. Put a good oil on them 3 times a week and give them a good buff once a week to improve the health and look of your nails.
