Bath Goodie Roundup

Sadly I do not have a new tutorial for you guys today, I spent all of Monday recovering from a pretty nasty flare up of some health problems. In retrospect I should have gone back to the doctor yesterday, so unless I'm feeling radically better today I'll be at least calling into their office. Instead today I'm doing a round up of my favorite bath goodies that I've done on this blog.

1.) LUSH inspired Jelly Soaps
I might have originally created these for my son, but they were fun enough I used them just as much as he did. The texture was weird and fun and really made bath time something special. One of these days I'll invest in bath safe glitter and make some amazing sparkling jelly soaps for myself....er I mean my child.

2.) Chocolate Mint Lip Scrub
Dry lips are the bane of my existence, mainly due to the particular climate of where I life, plus the nervous habit of chewing on my lips. While constantly applying lip balm helps, being able to scrub them a few times a week is what makes them the softest. And no recipe I've done has topped this heavenly chocolate blend. It was so good I licked it off instead of rinsing it off, and since it was 100% food safe I could do that without making myself sick.

3.) Oatmeal Bath Bombs
Between myself, my husband, and my son we probably go through a gallon of Aveeno hydrocortisone cream a year. Between allergies, skin issues, and the weather I swear someone always have a rash or dry and itchy skin. These bath bombs are pure relief and are the most requested in my household. I've made so many of these I could probably make them in my sleep.

4.) Pampering Lemon Peppermint Bath Bombs
These bath bombs are one of my proudest creations, I entered and won a craft competition with these babies. The combination of the scent and the oils make these the answer to a long, hard day. These bombs speak for themselves, trust me you will not regret making them.

5.) Pre-Shave Sugar Scrub
This is another recipe I've made so often I can now make it in my sleep. I make a big batch of this at the beginning of the month and use it twice a week to keep my legs extra smooth when I shave them. I love this recipe, it is so easy and has really made a difference in the feel of my skin.
