If you've been a reader for a while now you know that I'm really into making my own products lately. A pretty important part of all this DIY stuff is the containers I put my products into. Ohuhu was kind enough to send me a set of their Roller Ball bottles to review, which works out perfectly for all of us!
First, can we talk about how pretty these are? I'm a sucker for that cobalt blue color, I might have a small collection of bottles that particular shade. They are about 3 inches tall, so a pretty good size and perfect for all your DIY perfume and skincare needs. I happen to think these would be perfect for the homemade Zit Zapper I'm working on right now. The lids screw on so you don't have to worry about them popping open in your bag, and the whole bottle is pretty sturdy. I know this because the box they were in came open in transit and not one arrived with even a chip knocked out of it. Pretty good for free floating in a manila envelope I think. Especially since they do come all the way from China. I think they took about a week to get to me, not to bad I think. But now they appear to have Prime shipping available so they should ship quickly to you.
As you can see these are just a roller ball bottle. The whole plug pops out so you can fill (and refill) them with whatever you want. I really appreciate that the plug came out easily enough, I've had ones that needed a knife and a whole lot of elbow grease to open. They're a tight enough fit that the plug won't just pop out, but you can pop it open with just a fingernail.
I really like these, even if I was less than thrilled with their shipping packaging. The price is pretty decent I thought, $7.99 for 6 of them and free Prime shipping. I've seen crappy plastic ones at the store for way more than that, so these are a good option if you want something that will look good and last forever.
