Weekend Tips and Tricks

Getting close to Halloween, anybody else beyond excited? We're doing the whole pumpkin patch and costume building thing this weekend so I'm looking forward to it. Since my weekend will be packed, here are some of my favorite tricks and tips to getting the most beauty time for me while I'm trying to do 50 other things.

Tip #1: Hang your clothes by the shower while you shower, the steam will help the wrinkles to release and help it look sleeker and like you just picked it up from the cleaner.

Tip #2: Lay your makeup and tools out the night before in the order you use them in to cut down on all the time you spend looking for that particular shade of lipstick or just the right eyeshadow brush. This seriously cuts at least 5 minutes out of my getting ready time in the morning.

Tip #3: Look for double duty products to cut down on your time in front of the mirror. Use a BB cream that contains primer and SPF protection, use a cheek and lip stain, and a mascara that makes your lashes look so good you won't need to curl them.

Tip #4: Use dry shampoo in place of that morning shower for days you are really crunched on time. A good brand (I'm partial to the Psssst! Dry Shampoo) will leave your hair looking like you just hopped out of the shower. Baby wipes work for a quicky sponge bath as well, because some morning you wake up stinky AND 20 minutes late.
