Holiday DIY Gift Giving Roundup

Here at Best Beauty for my Buck we understand that sometimes the list of people you want to give holiday gifts to can dwarf you actual holiday budget. That's why I've created a list of the tutorials I've shown you already that would make a great gift for those you want to pamper and show how much you care. These can all be combined into one awesome gift basket (baskets at the Dollar Store are my holiday jam) for less than an overpriced holiday candle.

Items you can make in bulk easily:

Fall Fun Lip Scrub This can be doubled or even tripled easily and packaged into little jars (cheaply bought on Amazon, like the ones I depotted my lipstick into.) then placed in an envelope with your Christmas cards or placed in a bag/basket with other goodies.

Chocolate Mint Lip Scrub This can be made to whatever size you want and divided up as well. I think it pairs really well with the coffee body scrub as a gift set.

Coffee Body Scrub This can be made as big as you need it. Put it in small glass jelly jars or even plastic jars bought from Amazon (you can get 4 oz white jars for fairly cheap) and attach a homemade label. Add a little scoop for extra cuteness and this would be a great addition to a spa basket.

Pre-Shave Body Scrub This can be divided up and packaged just like the coffee scrub and is cheaper to make as well.

Oatmeal Bath Bombs These can be made well in advance and package so well in wide mouth mason jars. You can add some dried lavender to them for an extra special touch.

For the kids (or the young at heart):

Bath Time Play-Doh This recipe can be divided in half or even into thirds and can be colored/scented however you want. It can be placed in a tub or wrapped with some plastic wrap as well. It will dry out though so wait to make it until you are ready to gift it.

Jelly Jiggler Soap These make for a fun gift, but should be made the night before gifting and stored in the fridge to keep them at their best. Package these in plastic tubs one at a time. Can customize color, scent, and additions (like glitter)

  1. I see a lot of people doing DIY Body Scrubs this time of year, I may have to try some out. And the oatmeal bath bomb sounds like a great relaxing Sunday evening to me :)
