I love getting raw ingredients to use and review for this blog. Being able to take an ingredient and turning it into what I want is awesome, and getting to share those recipes was part of the reason behind this blog. Last week I showed you how to make an easy Peppermint Sugar Scrub using the Pure Body Naturals Peppermint Oil, so this is my official review and opinion of this product.
I love the scent of peppermint, which might be one of the reasons I love Christmas time. Its that scent that makes peppermint oil so wonderful and useful. I actually soaked a cotton swab in it and have had it sitting on my desk since I received the bottle. This oil is very strong smelling, my whole living room smells like it every time I open up the bottle.
The bottle itself is a dark, brown glass which will help keep the product from breaking down in the sunlight, so I appreciate that. It came with a regular screw on cap and a eye dropper cap, which has made it really easy to portion out what I need. It's a huge bottle too, 4 fluid oz, so it should last me for quite a while. And they are cruelty free/don't test on animals, which is really great.
Overall, I really like this product and I look forward to doing lots of tutorials in the future using it. Or just sniff it everyday, that works too. If you want to purchase your own bottle you can find them here for $19.95 at the time of this writing.
